What is Phi Sigma Pi?
Phi Sigma Pi is a rare breed of Co-Educational Professional or Honor organization.

Phi Sigma Pi is a family. Complete with little brothers and sisters, big sisters whose shoulders we cry on or big brothers whose ears we bend, and favorite aunts and uncles who drink and tell us stories our parents wish they wouldn't.

Phi Sigma Pi is the collegiate "melting pot." Where else can so many people get together from such a variety of majors, races, beliefs and geographical locations? And where else can this have survived and thrived for as long as it has?

We emphasize a tripod of Leadership, Fellowship, and Scholarship and are open to any student who has at least a 3.0 GPA and 12 credit hours from college and is currently enrolled at Eastern Michigan University, with two semesters before graduation. While this means that freshman are not immediately able to become a brother in Phi Sigma Pi during their first semester, we are a wonderful student organization and do many things to help out around the Ypsilanti-Ann Arbor region. For more information, contact me webmaster@pspemu.org!webmaster@pspemu.org or the president of our chapter at president@pspemu.org!

Phi Sigma Pi is the ultimate scrapbook. Though some of us have physical ones, the memories and friendships form in our mind a collage that make up our "best of times" and "worst of times," as Charles Dickens would say.

Phi Sigma Pi is the experience, wisdom and tradition of ages before us distilled into simple acts such as a handshake or a chant that melt those ages into a present-day friendship with strangers.

The Alpha Phi Chapter of Phi Sigma Pi was chartered at Eastern Michigan University on March 16, 1992, as the first Chapter to be founded in the State of Michigan. There are currently 30 active Brothers in Alpha Phi Chapter, but we have over 300 Alumni members. Our Fraternity's national philanthropy is Teach For America.
